Construction Lite app for iPhone and iPad
"Construction Lite" is aimed at quickly and reliably analyzing and sizing simple reinforced concrete and metal structures.
Comprehensive yet compact and user-friendly, "Construction Lite" is a valuable timesaving device that designers and structural engineers will welcome.
Users in field or in office enjoy permanent access to the apps useful content at their fingertips. Network access is NOT needed for full functionality.
** Structural Analysis **
The application covers a wide range of structures ( beams - simple, embedded - , columns, slabs, frames, foundations, piles and more … ) and load types (distributed, concentrated ).
In relevant cases, the user has access to reactions, shear forces, bending moments and deflections ; a powerful inertia module is shipped within the app : users can calculate inertias for sections with various shapes ( rectangular, circular, T-sections, and more).
** Metallic and Reinforced Concrete Analysis and Sizing **
Many structures can be further designed and analyzed in both metal and reinforced concrete versions.
"Construction" provides tools for sizing the cross section, calculating the required amount of reinforcement, and detailing the reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures.
** Localization **
The application is specifically designed with American professionals in mind : by toggling the proper setting, the user can pick either metric system units or customary english system. Work on making the app fully compliant with ACE standards is under progress.
The current version is available for users in English, French and Spanish.
** Credentials **
Construction combines the experience and skills of two firms: ATHIS (design) and Qualia Systemes (computer engineering).
It is backed by "Techniques de lIngeieur", a world-famous reference since 1946.
** Pay as you go **
All users have unlimited, free access to two important modules (inertia and simple beams). For users interested in using additional modules, in-app purchases are available that allow both package and individual buys.
